Overview of class

In this seminar, we will develop skills in data analysis and the graphical representation of data by applying these techniques to historical interpretation. In our hands-on work, we will focus on the mapping tool ArcGIS Online and the network analysis tool Palladio. In our theoretical work, will read some of the foundational works underpinning the field of digital history and will take a critical look at how the field has developed over the past two decades.
