Overview of class
This is the second quarter of a three-quarter sequence Intermediate German. We will continue to use AKROBATIK as our core grammar online resource, discuss everyday culture of German-speaking countries, and read an excerpt from a play by Bertolt Brecht to continue our exploration of modern German literature. No purchase necessary; all materials are sponsored by the German department.

German 102-1 or equivalent
Learning Objectives
Students will be able to converse and write in German at the intermediate level and will develop increased listening and reading comprehension.
They will gain knowledge of cultural, social, and political issues in contemporary Germany, and its recent history.
