Overview of class
Quantum mechanics, electronic structure, periodic properties of elements, chemical bonding, thermodynamics, intermolecular forces, properties of solids and liquids, and special topics in modern chemistry. Students enrolled in this course MUST also enroll in the associated laboratory course, CHEM 141-0.
Registration Requirements
Prerequisite: Grade of C- or better in Chemistry 110-0.
Students may not start the sequence in this course.
