Overview of class
This course explores the theory and practice of social justice movements. It covers power, activism, differences, protest, and unity. Through a multidisciplinary approach, students study historical and contemporary movements, analyze strategies, and assess societal impact. By course end, students gain a strong foundation and skills to engage in and contribute to social change efforts.
This course is conducted completely online. A technology fee will be added to tuition.
Registration Requirements
This course is limited to School of Professional Studies students only. Undergraduate students in other schools at Northwestern are not permitted to enroll in this course.
