Overview of class
In this performance-based course, students will develop effective rehearsal practices, explore performance techniques, and effectively embody their characters. Using material from both traditional and contemporary musicals, students will develop skills in singing, dancing, acting, and collaboration, working in both large and small groups. Students are expected to fully engage in a rigorous process that demands retention of music, choreography, direction, dramaturgy, and feedback from instructors.
A permission number is required. Please contact Alexander Gemignani (agem@northwestern.edu) & Christopher Michael Richardson (christopherrichardson2026@u.northwestern.edu) if you are interested in the course.
Registration Requirements
Contact Alexander Gemignani for permission number at: agem@northwestern.edu
Once a permission number is requested, a short questionnaire will be sent to the student to assess their readiness for the rigor of the class.
