Overview of class

Intense analysis of Shakespearean text forms the foundation of this class. It is imperative that designers and directors understand the importance of careful reading and understanding plays before embarking on a design process. Each student in this class will be assigned to a team of a director and designers. Each team will generate designs for a Shakespeare play. The design process will culminate in weekly presentations and discussions of work completed collaboratively outside class.
