Overview of class

This course will introduce students to the technique and craft of acting for the screen. Students will perform in a number of exercises to build skills in front of the camera, including preparing audition sides using recent material and submitting self tapes that meet current professional standards. During the term we will also cover the nuts and bolts of the on camera business from auditioning to booking.

Learning Objectives

Students will gain technical, artistic, and experiential knowledge of screen acting techniques, on camera audition standards, on-set protocol, and other industry tips.
