Overview of class

This course explores the dynamic relationship between sports and media, focusing on how communication strategies shape public perceptions, fan engagement, and the global reach of athletic events. Students will critically examine mediated sports communication contexts including social media, press conferences, interviews, and mega events such as the Olympics and World Cup. Students will develop skills to evaluate and produce strategic communication in sports contexts.
