Overview of class
Understanding how a design works—whether it involves house decorations or classroom grading policies—can help us improve designs, talk about them more clearly, and create better ones in the future. In Design Principles, students will iteratively design a learning environment of their choosing—for themselves, others, or a group they care about. Through this process and the support of the class, they will develop design skills and a framework for thinking that can help them take on some of life's most complex challenges.
