Overview of class
The course introduces teaching and learning strategies that aid course participants in becoming effective educators in the secondary school setting. Emphasizing current research, the course is a comprehensive study of teaching methods in the sciences: biology, chemistry, and physics. Lesson and unit planning and assessment of student learning are elements of the seminar.
