Overview of class

Individual vocal (singing) instruction for Music Theatre Certificate students.
One 50 minute lesson per week, per quarter (.5 units per quarter) for 3 quarters.

Registration Requirements

Prerequisite: admission to the Music Theatre Certificate Program.
*Students in the Bienen School of Music music take 1.5 units of the equivalent Voice Major lesson (SoM) in place of this course.

Learning Objectives

Students will develop their vocal technique through music theatre repertoire.

Class Materials (Required)

Two 3-ring Binders, Sheet protectors $5-20 , 30-40 printed sheet of music (per quarter): Sheet music may be obtained through NU library, Professor's personal library, or purchased for $6/song on musicnotes.com
