Overview of class

In this class we will focus on two topics: the structural organizing principles that make all of the above true (c.f. works of Piketty, Milanovich, Wolf; and the shape of work over the past 25 years (c.f. works by Burawoy, Galvin, Callaci).

Amidst all these categories, we will also look at some American failures like health care and try to see how this fits in with the above.
