Overview of class
This course explores fundamental biophysical concepts through the lens of cell signaling, offering both theoretical insights and practical perspectives for students concentrating in biochemistry and biophysics. Students will learn modern experimental techniques and engage with primary research literature. Coursework includes instructor- and student-led presentations, reading and discussing peer-reviewed research articles, and case studies that highlight the role of biophysical research in uncovering basic scientific principles of cell signaling and disease mechanisms.
Registration Requirements
Prerequisites: BIOL_SCI 201-0, BIOL_SCI 202-0, and BIOL_SCI 301-0.
