Overview of class
This advanced acting topic will focus on the practical application of acting skills toward modern and contemporary scenes and/or monologues. Material will include comedy, magical realism, and "portraying the villain." An emphasis on physical specificity, psychological development of character, and emotional engagement from the actor will be present throughout.
Registration Requirements
Open to senior Theatre majors who have completed THEATRE 373-3.
Students may initially enroll in just one THEATRE 375-0. If spots remain available at the end of the first week of regular registration, they will be open on a first-come, first-served basis to any senior Theatre major who meets the prerequisites.
