Overview of class

This course has been designed to foster an understanding of the teaching of Creative Drama, as well as the history of and current trends in the field. Much of the content of this course will be acquired through an experiential and reflective mode of learning. Through participation, observation, teaching, discussion, research and reflection, students will develop an awareness of the importance of drama to the intellectual, aesthetic, social and emotional development of the young people and the ability to lead successful drama lessons with their peers.
