Overview of class

Students will learn a wide variety of introductory and intermediate Improv games and styles. Any level of previous improv or acting experience (including none at all) is welcome. Emphasis will be placed on building ensemble and a sense of play.

Learning Objectives

To learn and explore key tenets of comedic improvisation in order to 1) apply them in the creation of live improv comedy and 2) become empowered in the creative process - no matter the medium - by shifting our focus from a place of judgement, to active participation
and play.

Enrollment Requirements

Enrollment Requirements: Registration is restricted to RTVF Majors Only until the end of preregistration, after which time enrollment will be open to everyone who has taken the prerequisites (if any).
