Overview of class

Sometimes just coming up with the right idea is the hardest part. Idea Workshop is a course to help students solve that. Through screenings, readings, and discussion, students will research cinematic genres then utilize them to develop original ideas for future screenplays they might later write and produce during their tenure in Radio-TV-Film and beyond. Every week, students will generate multiple feature-length and short film concepts based on weekly prompts given in class. Each student will leave the course with an idea book filled with 30+ ideas for future projects that they have workshopped in class and revised.
