Overview of class

Students in this workshop class will watch, discuss and analyze what elements go into crafting a musical. Students will write a musical (book and lyrics) and workshop it in class. This class does not include music composition.

Enrollment Requirements: Reserved for RTVF Majors with the RTVF 260-0 prerequisite or students in Writing: MFA or Documentary Media: MFA programs until the end of preregistration, after which time enrollment will be open to everyone with the prerequisite.” Undergraduate students must have completed RTVF 260-0 in order to register for this course (concurrent registration is not allowed). Writing: MFA or Documentary Media: MFA students may register for this course.
