Overview of class

Teamwork and Collaboration in IMC introduces the frameworks, skills, and tactics professionals draw on across a range of roles - working alongside colleagues, contributing to teams, and, in time, mentoring others. TheĀ course focuses on how to combine data about stakeholders with knowledge of them to develop evidence-based, theory-driven approaches to working with others. Drawing on scholarly research and applied examples, students will explore practical strategies for motivating, inspiring, and understanding diverse individuals andĀ groups. Throughout the course, students will complete exercises to identify their own strengths, learn from the successes and failures of experienced professionals and organizations, and create a detailed plan for ongoing career development.
