Overview of class

Product marketing brings a product to market and drives its growth by understanding customer needs, crafting clear messaging, launching effectively, boosting demand and adoption, and maintaining that demand over time.

This course provides a hands-on approach to product marketing, tailored for students looking to deepen their foundational knowledge and confidently apply essential concepts in real-world settings. Guided by a FMCG industry veteran, you will explore the essential stages of product marketing—from identifying and sizing market opportunities, through the collaborative process of crafting and executing a go-to-market (GTM) strategy, to driving demand at product launch and through the duration of the product lifecycle.

Beyond the theoretical, this course emphasizes understanding core principles and applying them in dynamic, engaging ways. You will follow the natural arc of product marketing, gaining hands-on insights into how companies identify market potential, align cross-functional teams around a GTM plan, and create effective campaigns to generate and sustain customer interest.

Learning is enriched through a variety of engaging methods, including real-life business examples, pop culture references, and interactive case studies across a variety of industries. This approach ensures that you not only grasp foundational concepts but also understand how to translate them into actionable strategies.
