Overview of class

This graduate seminar will be offered in parallel with PSYCH 378, Images of Cognition, an upper-level research seminar. This class provides an overview of cognitive neuroscience and the general organization of the functional neuroanatomy of the human brain, relying primarily on research using neuroimaging techniques. Graduate students will participate in class discussions and exercises with a goal of providing an overview of brain anatomy from the perspective of functional networks and regions associated with specific cognitive operations as well as a review of historical and modern neuroimaging methodologies.
