Overview of class
This course will cover the US criminal justice system. We will learn about crime, actors (police, prosecutors, judges, jurors), corrections (prisons & community supervision), reentry, and other issues. We will learn through lectures, film, data exploration, and class discussions.
Learning Objectives
Students will be expected to understand the workings of the criminal justice system and the role of key stakeholders and issues.

Enrollment Requirements: Pre-registration -- Reserved for Political Science students until the end of preregistration, after which time enrollment will be open to everyone who has taken the prerequisites.
