Overview of class
Overview of data analysis and modeling approaches used in earth, environmental, and planetary sciences, including data standards, environmental statistics, box modeling, geospatial and geo-temporal analyses. Assessments focus on skill-mastery, and include small group mini-projects. The data sets used span sub-disciplines of earth and environmental sciences, such as population, climate, solid earth, and water science.
