Overview of class

This course focuses on the collaboration between director, playwright, and actors as they rehearse and develop a brand new full length play. There is an additional lab time on Friday mornings which serves as an additional rehearsal and is required. The course culminates in semi-staged public reading in the New Play Festival at Wirtz

Registration Requirements

Actors who have been cast in a role for the MFA New Play Festival will be given a permission number to enroll in the class. Seth Roseman producer of the festival and co-teacher of the class will be in charge of the permission numbers..

Enrollment Requirements: Registration in this course is reserved for students in the Theatre Department MFA Directing or Design Programs. Other students may register with instructor consent and a permission number.
