Overview of class

Poetry & Language focuses on developing mastery of expression and language through poetry. The class will begin with a physical warm-up designed to increase physical awareness, relaxation, and freedom. Students will be introduced to the International Phonetic Alphabet as it applies to American English.

Class Materials (Required)

Reading materials as assigned in class. Use of yoga mats. $26-50

Enrollment Requirements: Registration in this course is reserved for students in the MFA Acting Program. Other students may register with instructor consent and a permission number.
