Overview of class
In this course you will become familiar with and practice rehearsal techniques that are most applicable to the ensemble/collective work model of theatre practice, paying special attention to those techniques that are necessary for the rehearsal and performance of musical theatre and plays with music. By the end of the quarter, you will be capable of utilizing these skills in a professional production environment. Additionally, you will have experimented with a variety of personal preparation techniques, so that you may come to a better understanding of the process you utilize outside of the rehearsal room - regardless of the specific needs of the production. This is a required course for 3rd years in the music theatre certificate program. PREREQUISITE: 352-1
