Overview of class

In this experiential-learning course, students will explore the application of theatre-based strategies with pediatric hospital patients. This course will deepen student understanding of the challenges and opportunities in mounting theatre-based programming designed for a target demographic in non-traditional spaces. The course requires travel to local schools and children's hospitals for in-person performances and facilitations, and will require additional rehearsal time outside of scheduled class hours.
