Overview of class
In the last twenty years, there's been a proliferation of widely acclaimed television series whose protagonists are unlikable and driven by self-interest. What makes these characters so compelling? In this course, students will create original works for the stage and screen featuring protagonists who are anti-heroes.
Over the quarter, students will write and workshop a one-act play, TV pilot, or short screenplay (22-30 pages). Grad students may write up to 60 pages.
