Overview of class

In this class, we will study examples of performances made for digital consumption from Zoom theatre, to TikTok, to YouTube streaming. Through viewings and exercises we will make use of everyday objects around us and draw inspiration from a variety of ways in which artists generate digital content. By the end of the class students will have created a body of short digital works that explore narrative storytelling, voice, character, and tone.

Learning Objectives

Students will examine voice, character, tone and narrative methods suited for the creation of digital content.
