Overview of class

How do you lead when you don't have formal authority — but still need to move ideas, teams, and projects forward? In creative fields like entertainment, media, and the arts, leadership is less about titles and more about influence, negotiation, and collaboration.

This course introduces essential tools for leading in fast-paced environments where creative work happens. Grounded in social & behavioral science and brought to life through simulations, exercises, and discussion, students will learn how to build trust, make smart decisions, motivate teams, and negotiate strategically - critical skills for future leaders in dynamic, idea-driven industries.
