Overview of class
"The crisis of information integrity". In an era defined by alternative truths, viral misinformation, and AI hallucinations, how do we protect the foundations of shared truth? This course investigates systemic threats to information integrity in digital environments, and specifically in online communities and platforms. Students will learn and apply approaches from social, information, and computational sciences to diagnose information integrity threats and evaluate strategies to mitigate them.
