Overview of class

The law of the media and entertainment industries from the perspectives of the producer, artist, and creator. This course blends the principles of the business of entertainment with the practical aspects of how to do business in entertainment and how to use and protect your intellectual property. Important topics include copyright, contracts, trademarks, trade secrets, forms of business, and entertainment business practices.
