Overview of class

In this course, students will build upon skills and knowledge acquired in Brass Class I to develop intermediate brass playing and pedagogy. In consultation with the instructor, students will select two brass instruments which they will primarily study throughout the quarter to facilitate technical development. Students will have opportunities to teach groups of their peers to apply their content knowledge and practice instruction. Brass Class I is a required prerequisite to this course.
