Teaching Techniques, Rehearsal Techniques, Pedagogy
Learning Objectives
Planning and administering a public-school choral program, group vocal training techniques,
strategies for choosing, preparing, planning, and rehearsing choral literature, and teaching
comprehensive musicianship in the choral classroom
Teaching Method
Lecture, discussion, and lab teaching. There is a an additional practicum component which involves
classroom observation and field teaching.
