Overview of class
Leadership and Management of Brands is a course for students to consider how to oversee a brand's strategic vision, market trends, economic influences, competitive differentiation, customer experience, brand identity, and management of a team and people. Plus, how to consider brand innovation in order to show foresight and to stay ahead for the future. In order to ensure the brand full experience, students must communicate to many audiences, from customers to the internal team, so we will first look at branding and strategy through the lens of good communication skills. Then we ensure understanding of economic and financial literacy for brands in a competitive landscape. Then we will take a look at how a leader manages a team well, from developing people to managing teams and meetings. We will also ensure that we understand how brand identity is secured in a world that has millions of brands. Our final project will be to offer an innovation on a well-known brand to measure success.
