Overview of class
This seminar course concerns the scientific study of human memory. A cognitive neuroscience perspective will be emphasized. Students will analyze research results in detail to determine the extent to which conclusions are convincing. We will think carefully about the scientific process whereby we can gain knowledge about various aspects of human memory, including learning, retrieval, consolidation, false remembering, and forgetting.
