Overview of class
Seminar for sociolinguistics graduate students to workshop and share PhD research. Intended for students in the Linguistics PhD program who are working in Sociolinguistics.

Learning Objectives
This course is intended for students in the Linguistics PhD program who are formulating research ideas, designing research studies, or executing research projects in Sociolinguistics. For the first portion of each class time, students will engage in presentations of research and provide peer feedback in discussions. The second portion of class will be focused time for hands-on work and writing on research projects. Students will gain experience presenting research, providing and incorporating peer feedback, and project planning.
