Overview of class
This course will focus on script-based text/scene work and physicalizing text to open the body to a deeper understanding and inhabiting of character. Lessons will concentrate on tools and tactics found in the text and body that will help facilitate instinct, play, risk, and improvisation. Students will employ these tactics to create character and deepen scene work. This course meets two times a week for 2.5 hours. Students can expect 4-10 hours of out-of-class work per week.

This class is only open to the MFA in Acting cohort.
