Overview of class
An investigation of the individual comic self and the tools necessary for acting in both broad comedy (farce, sitcom-style) and more sophisticated comedy ("high comedy") through individual and paired exercises, games, and scene work.
Registration Requirements
Preference form will be distributed by the department to seniors of the Acting Sequence. Students will be assigned a section and issued a permission number.
Class Materials (Required)
A pair of character shoes (NOT sneakers, sandals, or crocs). They can be something you already possess or can find at a thrift shop. They need not be fancy. A used sport jacket for men and a rehearsal skirt for women. $50-75
