Overview of class
The first year in general focuses on developing the actor as an instrument of perception, interpretation and communication on stage. This is an experiential class focusing on awareness and observation of text on the body to understand that text is connected to kinesthetic response and are the sparks that ignite an actor's needs/wants/objectives.
Registration Requirements
Acting sequence students only
The nine quarter acting sequence is carefully designed so that the lessons of each course provide the skills and experience needed for success in the following quarter. Should a student miss any individual quarter, for whatever reason, permission to continue the sequence is at the sole discretion of the instructor.
