Overview of class

This class centers performance of a pop music fueled, sweaty fusion of poly-rhythmic classical (ish) jazz, release, improvisation, and ballet techniques, with some partner and group work. Bi-weekly video recordings and brief reflective discussions track your progress over the quarter, as the class works toward a final showing/performance at the quarter's end.

Registration Requirements

Pre-reg: Dance maj/min + MT Cert | Open to all undergraduates during regular registration

Class Materials (Required)

Jazz shoes (soft or with heels) $1-25

Enrollment Requirements: This class is restricted to Dance majors/minors & Music Theatre Certificate students during pre-registration, after which time enrollment will be open to everyone who has taken the prerequisites (when pre-reqs are applicable) or have placed in the level
