Overview of class
Course for School of Communication students who intern 8-40 hours per week for employers throughout the world. Requires the submission of a Handshake application, participation in a weekly seminar course, midterm assessment and final evaluation. May be subject to internship course-credit limits; students should consult their academic advisor before applying.
Registration Requirements
Students will need to submit a Handshake application. They will be enrolled in the course by the EPICS Office.
Learning Objectives
1. Develop skills, gain insight into typical workplace rules and engage in experiential learning in a professional environment.
2. Increase critical thinking and creative solutions by developing personal learning objectives to expand current skills and identify development opportunities.
