Overview of class

Medill Explores London is a globally oriented marketing course. As brands seek to maximize global scale while also leveraging unique local insights, the principles of IMC are essential to finding the right mix. Medill Explores London is a course that sets the student in the city as a classroom, anchoring experiences in scholarship of global marketing. Students will see IMC concepts of customer-centric strategy and global branding come to life during their five days in London.

This course is designed for students who are interested in building and managing global brands, regional vs. global consumer insights, and working on multinational teams to build relevant and powerful marketing campaigns. Students can expect to learn about global brands, consumer insights, and regional customization. The course will use London as a classroom: from corporate headquarters to branded experiences, to retail observation, students will study and evaluate iconic brands and how they compete differently across the globe.
