Overview of class

This course is specifically designed for beginners (participants with no background in programming) and introduces the expressiveness of computing to visual artists, web, and game designers. Using the open-source platform P5.js, we'll explore procedural thinking through interactive art and game projects. Participants will gain tools to create movement and interaction and enhance their understanding of design. After taking this course, they will find it easier to mesh code with game design, media arts, and web design to create aesthetically engaging work. Students with prior coding experience will also benefit by exploring artistic expression through code.
