Overview of class

This course explores syntax within the framework of generative grammar while also examining processing studies. Students will engage with core concepts of syntactic theory and investigate how these concepts are tested in online and offline sentence processing. Through readings of methodologically diverse papers, students will become familiar with both behavioral and computational approaches.
