Overview of class
In this practical course, students will learn about the field of Theatre for the Very Young through a hands-on opportunity to create a performance for preschool audiences. Students will engage with academic literature and research in this rapidly expanding field, while applying their classroom learning in a devising process. The class will involve creating and implementing sensory drama workshops in a local preschool, culminating in a Theatre for the Very Young performance shaped by the ideas of the young people.
