Overview of class
A survey of theories and research in Cognitive Psychology, covering topics including perception, attention, memory, knowledge representation, language, reasoning and problem solving, judgment and decision-making, and learning. Theoretical issues and real-world applications will be considered across the course topics. Classes will consist of lectures, demonstrations, and discussions. Students will be required to think critically about the assumptions, methods, and applications of empirical research associated with the course topics.
