With a focus on Max Weber's famous work, The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism, this course explores Max and Marianne Weber's trip to America in 1904; Max Weber's relationship with W.E.B. DuBois; Marianne Weber's contributions to feminist theory; and the relation between religion and economics.
