Overview of class
Immunobiology is the study of the response of higher organisms to foreign substances and pathogens, such as bacteria and viruses. This course examines the cells, molecules, and organs of the vertebrate immune system and how they function to protect us during an immune response against infection. We will use this information to understand disorders of the immune system, including immune deficiency, autoimmunity, and allergies.
