Overview of class

Queer Singing: transgender, two-spirit, and nonbinary vocal pedagogy!

This course is not limited to trans and nonbinary students! This class is for anyone interested in learning more about vocal anatomy, breaking the binary of traditional musical theatre roles, and creating inclusive spaces for TTNB artists. Actors, singers, writers, music directors, and directors are welcome.

In Queer Singing, we will dive into vocal dysphoria and euphoria, rework traditionally binary repertoire, and tackle auditioning and casting obstacles for gender expansive performers. Guest lecturers include:
Will Wilhelm: http://www.willwilhelm.com
Chris Pazdernik: Producing Director, Theo Ubique
Simon Weismantel, LCSW: https://www.singlepointpsychotherapy.com/

Our final will consist of a mock audition and workshop at Theo Ubique!
